Kotoku Royals charged on two counts of misconduct

Kotoku Royals have been charged on two counts of misconduct in respect of their GN bank Division One League match against Amidaus Professionals played at Akim Oda.

On or about the 83rd minute of the match, Kotoku Royal FC failed to control its supporters when they threw stones and other objects into the inner perimeter and at Assistant Referee One in violation of the GFA Regulations.

Kotoku Royal FC is hereby charged for a breach of Article 35(1)(a), 35(3)(b), 35(3)(c) and 35(10) of the GFA General Regulations in respect of this match.

Immediately the match ended, the Club failed to control its supporters and officials when they verbally abused and also attempted to assault match officials holding them hostage on the field of play contrary to the stipulations of the Regulations.

As a result, the Club has also been charged for a breach of Articles 52, 58 and 59 of the Disciplinary Code and Articles 35(3)(b), 35(4), 35(7)(d) and 35(10) the GFA General Regulations in respect of this match.

Kotoku Royals is therefore expected to submit its written Statement of Defence to the charge(s) on or before Monday, June 8, 2015 on or before 5pm at the GFA Secretariat or through email address to the Disciplinary Committee, [email protected] failing which the Disciplinary Committee shall proceed to adjudicate the case without the Statement of Defence.

Should the Club choose Defence Options 3 (Personal Hearing) in the Statement of Defence, they will attend the Disciplinary Committee, Friday, June 12, 2015 on or before 4pm at the GFA Secretariat to answer to the charge(s), failure which the Disciplinary Committee shall proceed to adjudicate the case in their absence.
