Deputy Captain of the Black Maidens, Osman Rafia, has expressed strong confidence in the squad as they prepare to face Togo in their third WAFU B Girls Tournament match on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Speaking ahead of the crucial encounter, Rafia said she has been impressed with the team's preparation and mindset.

"I feel happy and I feel confident for my teammates. Because going to the training ground and seeing how they were prepared, I was really confident in them," she said.

Reflecting on the team's journey so far, the Deputy Captain noted that the tournament has been a valuable learning experience for the entire squad.

She added that the competition has taught the players to stay focused, remain disciplined, and follow the coach's instructions even under pressure.

The Black Maidens will be aiming to continue their impressive run when they take on Togo on Monday.
