Assistant Coach of the Black Maidens, Edna Quagraine, says the team will stick to its philosophy as they prepare for their third WAFU B Girls Tournament clash against Togo on Monday, September 21, 2026.

Speaking ahead of the game, Coach Quagraine stressed that Ghana will not deviate from its game plan.

"We play our original and it's going to be the way we play. We are going to play according to our plan," she stated.

Acknowledging the threat posed by their opponents, she described Togo as a familiar and formidable side.

"This is not the first time we are playing Togo. We played them during our qualifiers. They are a tough opposition, but I think that we will put our strategy down and make sure that we become victorious," Coach Quagraine noted.

She also highlighted the importance of the tournament as part of preparations for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

"It has opened our eyes. We have seen our faults. So I think that we will do a lot of corrections and then we are going to the World Cup properly," she added.

The Black Maidens will be looking to maintain their strong run in the tournament when they face Togo on Monday.
