Aduana Stars pulled off an important win to breathe life into their chase for Premier League survival after defeating Liberty Professionals 3-0 in Dormaa.

Despite the big win, the Dormaa side are firmly rooted at the base of the log though they have a game in hand.

Emmanuel Akuoku's goal from the spot after 35 minutes set the tone for victory at the Agyemang Badu Park.

His goal was followed by strikes from Richard Adade on the stroke of half-time before Sadick Abubakar rounded up a great performance with the third goal in the 59th minute.

Liberty are now three points above the relegation zone with six more matches for the Dansoman side.
