Black Queens assistant captain Jennifer Cudjoe has expressed deep personal pride and determination ahead of Friday's TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Group C match against Mali.

Making her debut at the continental tournament, Cudjoe said, "This is a dream come true for me. Representing Ghana at this level is an honour, and I’m giving everything for my team." She said.

She acknowledged the challenge ahead: "It’s not going to be an easy game, but we’ve prepared well and we’re progressing. We take lessons from the South Africa game and aim to show something better. We’ll fight like it’s our last game."Cudjoe added.

The Black Queens face Mali on Friday, seeking their first win and a chance to stay alive in the quarterfinals.
