GFA grants approval for Bekwai Heroes FC to change Club Name to ASHGOLD FC

The Ghana Football Association has granted formal approval for the change of name from Bekwei Heroes FC to Ashgold FC.

This decision follows an official request submitted by the club's ownership, seeking to rebrand under the new identity.

The approval letter from the GFA reads:

We acknowledge receipt of the letter from BEKWAI HEROES FOOTBALL CLUB LTD requesting approval for a change of your club’s name from BEKWAI HEROES FOOTBALL CLUB LTD (an incorporated company) to ASHGOLD FOOTBALL CLUB after a board resolution.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) also acknowledge receipt of the incorporated documents of the change of name to ASHGOLD FOOTBALL CLUB LIMITED from the Registrar General’s Department attached with Registration Number, CS008490121 and TIN C0058494634 submitted to the GFA. The GFA notes that BEKWAI HEROES FOOTBALL CLUB LTD, an incorporated company under the Companies Act, 1963 (Act 179) has its name change correctly under the law.

Consequently, the GFA hereby approves the change of name from BEKWAI HEROES FOOTBALL CLUB LTD to ASHGOLD FOOTBALL CLUB subject to the conditions below:

Condition

Kindly take notice that all documents, rights and obligations including but not limited to, debts or fines owed to the GFA and player registration licenses or fees and history in the name of Division One League club BEKWAI HEROES FOOTBALL CLUB shall STILL REMAIN VALID AND SHALL CONTINUE IN FORCE as if same are owed by or are in the name of ASHGOLD FOOTBALL CLUB.
