Mohammed Abu has signed a permanent deal with Stromsgodset in Norway from Manchester City.

The 22-year-old Ghana midfielder joined City in 2010 but has been unable to break into the first team.

Abu has been out on loan almost ever since, including two spells with Stromsgodset.

He played 35 times in his first spell in Norway before a brief stint with German side Eintracht Frankfurt.
