The first fixture of the weekend's Glo Premier League is the meeting between Ebusua Dwarfs and Berekum Arsenal on Saturday.

The pair lock horns at the Robert Mensah Stadium in a 3:00pm kick off live on Metro TV knowing that outcome could have a significant impact on their respective fortunes later in the season.

Dwarfs, unbeaten, after winning once and drawing twice so far enter the match-day-4 contest very confident against the side from Berekum.

Big games

The big games are set for Sunday when joint leaders, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak take to the pitches in Kumasi and Sekondi.

Kotoko would be at home to Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium as they seek to continue with their fine start. Maxwell Konadu has stressed he will only succeed as Kotoko coach if he gets the squad to sustain their early form over a long period.

Hearts of Oak will be away at the Sekondi Stadium to new-boys Wassaman in a late kick off at 6:15pm and live on the SuperSport channel.

The Phobians, one of the four sides - Kotoko, Dwarfs and Chelsea - who are unbeaten in the competition so far are tipped to pick all three points but former coach Herbert Addo in charge of Wassaman, believes his side will come good.

"We came in late with no preseason. We are building on and by the fifth match, we would be okay. We are not well conditioned and confident at the moment but we would improve," Addo said.

Boosted by home win over All Stars, AshantiGold will head to the Agyeman Badu Park confident when they clash with Aduana Stars.

Big spenders

The season's two biggest spenders, Berekum Chelsea and Medeama clash for the first time at the Golden City Park.

Both sides after investing heavily in the transfer market started off slowly but are aware that the outcome of their game would not be a measure of how far they have come.

Bechem Utd would be hoping to prevent a fourth straight defeat when they travel to the Wa Park to meet home side, All Stars. Admission free to women and children spectators.

Tema Youth, who are still searching for their maiden win will be guest of Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf. The game would be live on Metro TV with admission free to women and children spectators.

The Gyamfi Park will host the game between New Edubiase and Mighty Jets.
