Asante Kotoko meet King Faisal in the Kumasi derby while Aduana Stars tackle New Edubiase in a battle of the league debutants in exciting weekend of Premier League action.

With both sides suffering defeats last weekend, the derby will only serve to mount pressure on the coaches of the two teams.

Paa Kwesi Fabin remains a man under severe pressure while Alhassan Foster, the stand-in coach at Faisal did not fare too well after losing his first game in charge last weekend.

Kotoko who appear to falling off the pace at the top appear the side much under pressure and will need to deliver a derby win, a home game for them on Sunday to lessen the call for Fabin's exit.

Elsewhere on a weekend, champions Hearts of Oak travel to Wa where they will attempt to make it a second win in a row while the home side after a struggling start will seek the same.

Sellas Tetteh's club return takes him to Obuasi where his Liberty Professionals clash with AshantiGold at the Len Clay Stadium.

The Miners will try to avoid a third successive defeat when Sellas, coach of Ghana's Fifa U-20 World Cup winning team arrives in town with Liberty.

Aduana Stars are in action against New Edubiase in a clash between two premiership debutants at the Dormaa Park.

The guard at the top could change as the battle of the top-two sides comes off at the Anane Boateng Stadium where leaders, Kessben clash with second-placed Berekum Arsenals.

Just a point separates both sides with the Gunners standing the chance of leapfrogging the leaders if they manage a win.

In Accra, Great Olympics will go head-to-head with Heart of Lions while Chelsea welcome Hasaacas to the Coronation Park.

There's growing uncertainty in the camp of Sekondi Eleven Wise as their poor run in the league where they have lost five times in seven games remains a major bother.

Wise can turn around their campaign when they take on Real Tamale United at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
