Ghana endured a difficult time against Ethiopia in the first leg of the Second Round qualifying for the 2012 London Olympic Games.

The Black Queens lost 1-0 in Addis Ababa and had two players goalkeeper Memunatu Sulemana and Ama Saabi sent off in the last five minutes of regulation time.

Shitaye Sissay scored the lone goal on 14 minutes into the first half.

The return leg will be played in Accra in a fortnight's time where the Black Queens, who would be without the two suspended players will need a convincing win to advance to the next stage of qualifying.

Eight teams remain in the hunt for the continent's two qualifying places for the 2012 London Olympics.
