Ghana moves three places up on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World ranking table released today by the sport governing body, Fifa.

The Black Stars now occupy the 31st position from the 34th place it held during the March’s ranking.

Ghana gathered 62 points to record a total of 779 points as the team still maintains a strong place among the top five sides in Africa.

The Black Stars with 779 points this month leapfrog African champions, Egypt to third place on the continental table and closely trail the second side by just two points.

Cameroon remains Africa's top-rated national side followed by Nigeria in that order.

European Champions, Spain still unbeaten in 31 matches cling onto top spot followed by Germany and Holland.

A total of 109 "A" matches (77 FIFA World Cup preliminary matches and 32 friendly matches) were taken into account in the latest world ranking.
