Players of the Black Queens have started arriving in Accra to commence camping ahead of the June FIFA Women’s international window.
The players started reporting to camp on Monday evening as preparations begin for the team’s long-term build-up towards the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON).
Head Coach Kim Lars Björkegren and his technical team are expected to use the camping period to assess players, strengthen team cohesion, and continue implementing tactical plans.
The camp also includes four players who impressed during the recent home-based screening exercise.
A total of twenty-four players have arrived so far with two more scheduled to arrive tomorrow and training sessions are expected to commence as scheduled.
