The Ghana Football Association will organize a one-day Match Commissioners Seminar for Commissioners appointed for the 2026/27 Women's Premier League season on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the GFA Conference Room in Accra.

The seminar is part of the Association's preparation and capacity-building programme ahead of the start of the new season, which kicks off on the weekend of October 23, 2026.

The training will bring together Match Commissioners from across the country who will officiate in the Women's Premier League and will focus on key areas of match organization and management.

Topics to be treated include the role and responsibilities of the Match Commissioner, competition regulations and directives, integrity and ethical standards, safety and security protocols, match reporting and the use of the Competition Management System (CMS).

Instructors from the Competitions, IT, Refereeing, Integrity, and Safety and Security Departments of the GFA will lead the sessions, with emphasis on uniform application of regulations and effective collaboration with referees, clubs, and other stakeholders on matchdays.

The seminar also forms part of the GFA's broader strategy to enhance professionalism and ensure smooth organization of matches in the Women's Premier League.

The 2026/27 Women's Premier League will kick off on the weekend of October 23, 2026.
