Aduana Stars have taken over the top spot on the First Capital Plus Premier League table after defeating Great Olympics at the Accra stadium on Saturday.

Richard Arhin scored the only goal of the game and his personal third of the season to take his team top of the League table with 10 points.

The defeat is Olympics' third of the season and that has seen them slip to 15th on the League table.

Aduana now remain unbeaten in the season after three wins and a draw.

Also in Accra, Wa Allstars tasted defeat for the first time this season after a second half goal gave Liberty Professionals victory at the Carl Reindoff park in Dansoman.

After the first half ended goalless, both teams started the second half strongly but it Emmanuel Antwi broke the deadlock in the 74th minute to give Liberty all three points on the day.

Allstars who until today had won twice and drawn one, however still remain amongst the top four on the League table below Aduana Stars and AshGold.

Liberty on the other hand are now lying 7th despite being level on points with Wa Allstars.
