The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has successfully completed the Futsal Licence D Coaching Course at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence at Prampram.
The week-long course brought together coaches from across the country and forms part of the GFA's strategic commitment to developing and promoting futsal in Ghana.
Participants were taken through intensive theoretical and practical sessions covering the fundamentals of futsal, coaching methodology, attacking and defending principles, set pieces and the Laws of the Game. The sessions were led by Ghassane El Barhami from Morocco and other Instructors from the GFA Technical Directorate.
The course also included practical demonstrations, group work and assessments to equip the coaches with the modern knowledge and technical skills required for the fast-growing indoor sport.
The successful completion of the Licence D course marks another significant step in the Association's efforts to build a solid foundation for futsal development and to create a pathway for coaches to progress to higher licences in the near future.
