Training programme rolled out for Masseurs

A training programme to upgrade the professional skills, knowledge and competence of masseurs will begin next month.

The training organised by the Ghana Football Association and the School of Allied Health Science of the University of Ghana will run for 12-weeks with the target group being, masseurs of national teams and Clubs.

The programme is aimed at equipping such professionals with the proper certification to meet the requirements of the FIFA/CAF Club Licensing System from the 2015 season.

The training will start on 6th October at the Department of Physiotherapy, Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra with the cost for the period fixed at GH¢ 2,000.00 per participant.
