Dynamo FC are through to the Round of 64 of the MTN FA Cup after the Disciplinary Committee of the GFA declared winners in their preliminary round match against Right to Dream in November of last year.

They will now play Rospak on February 24 for a place in the Round of 32 fixture against King Faisal.

Though Right to Dream won the game 2-0, a protest filed against them by Dynamo over their failure to present their strip for inspection during the pre-match technical meeting was upheld.

Quoting article 34(1)j which states: "A team commits an offence punishable by forfeiture of a match where it plays in a strip that is not presented at pre-match technical meeting in an official match," the DC said the meaning of this article is clear and unambiguous.

The Disciplinary Committee thus declare Right to Dream FC losers of the match in question for violating article 34(1)j of the Regulations. In consequence therefore, Dynamo FC shall be and are hereby awarded 3 points and 3 goals in accordance with article 34(4)b of the Regulations.

In addition, Right to Dream FC shall pay a fine of GH¢500.00 of which fifty percent (50%) shall go to Dynamo FC in accordance with article 34(5)b of the Regulations. Dynamo FC therefore qualifies for the next stage of the competition.
