The Disciplinary Committee has ruled that the MTN FA Cup preliminary round match result between Royal Faith and Dawhenya still stands.

This follows the dismissal of a protest filed by Royal Faith against Dawhenya United for allegedly fielding seven unqualified players.

Royal Faith had claimed in their protest that Dawhenya fielded seven players whose registration licenses had not been approved at the time of the match which the latter won 2-1 in November 2013.

"The evidence adduced before the Committee does not support the case for a forfeiture of by Dawhenya F.C of the match in question," the D.C. stated in their ruling.

The decision by the D.C grants Dawhenya passage to play Bazooka FC in a Round of 64 match. The winner of the match will then travel to Dormaa to play Aduana Stars in their Round of 32 fixture.
