President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has lauded the effort of the two "Catch Them Young" referees who are officiating in the ongoing WAFU U-15 schools championship in Lome,Togo.

Wise Mensah and Angela Esinu Ama Tsakpoe - two products of the famous Catch Them Young policy have distinguished themselves with some eye-catching performances that has caught the attention of all.

President Simeone-Okraku who gave birth to this phenomenal policy said youngg referees have made themselves, their colleagues and Ghana very proud.

He also reiterated the commitment to invest more resources into the Catch Them Young Referees policy to make it even more successful.

"The Catch Them Young" policy was actively launched in 2020 with the aim of identifying and training young boys and girls aged between 12 and 17 who demonstrate a passion for refereeing.

The GFA believes development and recognition of these young referees are essential steps in ensuring the continued growth and excellence of refereeing in Ghana.
