It's two games into the new season and already massive upsets have been recorded against the league's title contenders.

The pressure is on in the First Capital Plus Premier League which enters match-day-3 this weekend with some interesting pairings.

The midweek round of matches saw Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions both suffer defeats with champions Asante Kotoko could only salvage a point.

This weekend, the league provides lots of action beginning on Saturday when the Phobians serve their final home suspension at the Essipong Stadium when they host Medeama.

Herbert Addo's side lost 4-2 to Berekum Chelsea at the same grounds on Wednesday but will be determined not to slip yet again when the Mauves arrive for the only fixture of the day.

Sunday will see the bulk of the games being honoured across the country with Kotoko away to B.A. United at the Coronation Park.

Didi Dramani's champions have only picked one point from a possible six and will have to find a way past a B.A Utd. team guided by their former captain Frimpong Manso before talk of crisis emerge in Kumasi.

Having been undone by two quick goals within two minutes by Great Olympics, the pressure is on Lions to return to their winning start but they will find their trip to the Agyemang Badu Park a difficult task when they meet Aduana Stars.

Chelsea, after their fine display against Hearts of Oak visit the Len Clay Stadium where they will test the might of leaders, AshantiGold.

Hasaacas will be at home to New Edubiase at the Essipong Stadium while Bechem United travel to face Wa AllStars at the Wa Park.

At the Tema Stadium, Inter Allies will clash with Liberty Professionals while bottom side, WAFA face Great Olympics in Sogakope.
