Ghana scored four unanswered goals to defeat Trinidad and Tobago 4-0 in the Unity Cup third-place match at the GTech Community Stadium. Captain Jordan Ayew opened the scoring in the 6th minute, followed by Razak Simpson's debut goal in the 12th minute and Mohammed Fuseini's debut goal in the 41st minute.

Lawrence Agyekum sealed the win with his debut goal in the 58th minute. Barcelona B winger Abdul Aziz Issah made a notable debut appearance after coming on for Lawrence Agyekum in the second half.
