Muntari to join squad today

Ghana’s Sulley Muntari will meet up with his teammates today when he arrives at the national side’s training camp in Paris.

Two other players Anthony Annan and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu joined the squad after Tuesday’s final training session with Michael Essien expected to complete the roster when he jets in on Friday.

Muntari who helped Inter Milan to a Champions League title joins up with Ghana teammates for the first time after the final against Bayern Munich.

The player is now hoping that his great season with Inter will continue at the World Cup after Italian side finished the season with a hat-trick of titles.

“Of course, now we are preparing for the World Cup and I hope to continue having a great year by doing a good job at the World Cup too,” the Ghana midfielder said.

“Yeah great year, I don’t know how to say it, great season. We won three trophies which is fantastic and we are very happy.”
