AshantiGold SC have not won a Premier League game since January 10, when they came from behind to beat Accra Great Olympics at the Accra sports stadium.

The former League champions have gone six games without a win with the recent draw against WAFA in Sogakope being their third in the process.

Their home form has also dwindled in their last three outings, drawing two and losing one. This Friday, the miners will put their recent downward spiral behind them as they head into match day 15 with a game against two-time champions Aduana Stars at home.

The last home game saw the Miners suffer a 1-0 defeat to Liberty Professionals on match day 13.

On player update, Appiah McCarthy remains on the sidelines unavailable as he continues to recuperate from an injury, he picked up against Legon Cities FC.

Aduana Stars have one defeat (4-1 loss to Dreams FC) last Sunday and will be hoping for a rebound-on Sunday at the Len Clay stadium.

The Ogya lads were on a good run before their loss last Sunday to Dreams FC.

Prior to the loss to Dreams FC, Aduana Stars recorded three victories on the spin against Legon Cities, Asante Kotoko and WAFA SC with the other two against Ebusua Dwarfs and Liberty Professionals ending in draws.

Aduana currently sit in 6th place with 21 points, four points adrift the top spot.

Their last win away to AshantiGold was in 2012. Since then, they have managed just one point from their last five visits to Obuasi.

On player updates, defender Farouk Adams is suspended after he was sent off against Dreams. Noah Martey remains side-lined with an injury.
