Ghana defender, John Mensah will be out for one month after tearing his groin muscle, his French club Olympique Lyon have said.

The Black Stars defender was forced off Lyon's 2-2 draw against Lille last week and his club coach Claude Puel says it will keep him out for the month of November.

The latest news will add to the growing frustration of the former Rennes captain since his 8 million Euro move to the serial French champions.

He missed the start of the season after picking up an injury in pre-season but must spend more time in the treatment room.
