The Football Association has announced the dates and venues for the 2026 Regional Football Association (RFA) Congresses across the country’s ten football regions.

The Regional Congresses will now commence in the Ashanti Region on Saturday, September 26, 2026, instead of Greater Accra as initially announced, and will conclude in the Western Region on Friday, November 13, 2026.

Ashanti will be the first region to host its Congress, with the event scheduled for Thursday, September 26, at Kumasi Anglican Senior High School.

The Eastern Region Football Association will follow on Tuesday, September 29, at the New Juaben Municipal Coordinating Directorate (MCP) Library, while Greater Accra will host its Congress on Wednesday September 30 at the CLOSAG Hall in Accra.

The Central Region will be next to host its Congress on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Siwdu Stadium in Cape Coast, following the Greater Accra Regional Congress.

On Thursday, October 8, the Upper West and Volta Regions will hold their respective Congresses simultaneously. The Upper West Congress will take place at the Upland Hotel in Wa, while the Volta Region will host its Congress at the Stevens Hotel in Ho.

The Brong Ahafo Region will take its turn on Friday, October 16, at the MTN Building Conference Hall in Sunyani.

The Northern Region will host its Congress on Friday, October 23, at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.

The Upper East Region will stage its Congress on Thursday, October 29, at the Regional House of Chiefs Hall.

The series of Regional Congresses will conclude in the Western Region on Friday, November 13, at the Church of Pentecost Auditorium in Sefwi Debiso.

The Regional Football Association Congresses provide an important platform for stakeholders within each region to deliberate on matters relating to the administration, development and growth of football at the regional level.
