Ampem Darkoa Ladies made an emphatic start to their 2026 CAF Women's Champions League campaign with a 5-1 victory over Mali's USFAS Bamako.

The Ghanaian champions recovered from an early setback to produce an impressive attacking display, with Angelina Yeboah scoring twice, while Patricia Agyei, Beline Nyarko and Nancy Amoh also found the net.

USFAS opened the scoring in the 10th minute through Oumou Koné, but Ampem responded strongly and drew level in the 27th minute when Yeboah converted a pass from Amoh. Three minutes later, Patricia Agyei completed the turnaround, putting Ampem Darkoa ahead in the 30th minute.

Amoh thought she had extended the lead in the 55th minute, but her effort was ruled out for offside.

Angelina Yeboah eventually added her second goal in the 78th minute before Beline Nyarko struck four minutes later to make it 4-1. Nancy Amoh then capped the performance by finding the net in the fourth minute of stoppage time to complete the 5-1 win.

The result gives Ampem Darkoa a strong start to their Group B campaign as they pursue a place in the semi-finals.
