Medeama earn passage to the play-off round in the CAF Confederation Cup after eliminating Zambia's Zesco over two legs.

The Ghanaian side reach the next round courtesy a 2-1 aggregate victory despite a 1-0 away loss at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Sunday after the Mauves had won the first leg 2-0 a week today.

Medeama would now be entered into the draw for the play-off round on Tuesday in Cairo.

Eight teams eliminated from the 1/8th round of the Orange CAF Champions League will be drawn against the eight teams that qualified from the 1/8th round of the Orange CAF Confederation Cup for the Play-offs.

The first leg of the play-off has been scheduled for the weekend of 18-20 April 2014; and the second leg for 25-27 April 2014.

The winners will progress to the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
