Medeama would be entered into the draw for the Confederation Cup play-off round if they advance past Zambia's Zesco this weekend.

CAF on Wednesday confirmed that the play-off draw will be conducted on Tuesday in Cairo.

The Mauves lead the 1/8th round tie 2-0 from the first leg in Ghana as they travel for the return leg on Saturday at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

According to the regulations, the eight teams eliminated from the 1/8th round of the Orange CAF Champions League will be drawn against the eight teams qualified from the 1/8th round of the Orange CAF Confederation Cup for the Playoffs.

The first leg of the play-off has been scheduled for the weekend of 18-20 April 2014; and the second leg for 25-27 April 2014. The winners will progress to the group stage of the Confederation Cup.
