Heart of Lions preserved their top-four ambitions after salvaging a point in their 2-2 draw with Inter Allies in Kpando on Sunday.

The home side needed an 85th minute equaliser from a penalty by Yakubu Hudu to earn a share of the spoils with the relegation threatened side, Inter Allies coasting to victory.

Lions took the lead through Edem Kodzo after 35 minutes but Inter Allies returned from the break much stronger and canceled out the opener through Ndiaye Talla after 61 minutes.

Mohammed Sheriff Danladi put the visitors ahead four minutes but their hopes of taking away all three points were undone when Hudu scored from the spot.
