Heart of Lions revived their failing top-four hopes after edging Bechem United 3-2 at Kpando in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Goals from Samuel Yeboah, Isaac Osae and Prince Acquah helped Lions to the win as they managed to survive Bechem's late onslaught.

Augustine Okrah nearly marred the day for the home side when he scored twice to hand Bechem a chance of snatching a point.

But as the minutes went by, Lions grew stronger and held their opponents in check.

At the Len Clay Stadium, AshantiGold laboured to a 1-1 draw with bottom side Inter Allies.

Gafaru Nasiru opened the scoring when he put the Miners in the lead in the 17th minute.

With the Miners heading towards victory, Abdul Fatawu Safiu scored a 92nd minute equaliser to deny Bashir Hayford's side a win to end their three consecutive defeats in the competition.

In Tema, Quincy Appiah Asante's second half goal handed Amidaus Professionals a 1-0 victory over New Edubiase.
