Heart of Lions got the much needed win to keep their hopes of earning a CAF Champions League place after defeating New Edubiase 1-0 on Sunday.

The Kpando side are just one point behind second-placed Hearts of Oak and 10 adrift the leaders, Kotoko with seven more games to go.

Mohammed Razir scored a 13th minute goal which separated both sides till the final whistle was blown by referee Emmanuel Eku Boateng.

The top two sides come the end of the season will qualify for the lucrative club competition.
