Ten-man Liberty Professionals beat Mighty Jets 2-1 at the Carl Reindorf Park to win the local derby in the Glo Premier League.

Coach J.E. Sarpong's side raced into a 2-0 lead before the 20th minute as Latif Salifu scored the opener in the 1st minute before Ernest Baffour doubled their lead on the 19th minute mark.

Two minutes later, Isaac Klevor pulled a goal back for Jets from an indirect freekick.

Jets pushed for the equaliser but failed to break down Liberty.

Liberty had Atta Kusi sent off in the 83rd minute as Jets attempted to capitalize on their numerical strength but Liberty held on to win the game.
