Kotoko's hopes of double on course as MTN FA Cup returns

Six quarter-final places will be decided this weekend in the MTN FA Cup after the Round of 16 fixtures are played.

The Cup matches, to be played on Saturday and Sunday will see 12 teams in action for places in the fifth round.

AshantiGold, chasing their second Cup success will be hoping their return to winning ways in the league can spur them on when they welcome Mighty Jets to the Len Clay Stadium on Saturday.

At the Baba Yara Stadium, King Faisal take on Metro Stars while Bibiani Gold Stars travel to the Gyandu Park to play Hasaacas at the Gyandu Park.

The hopes of clinching a domestic double is still on course for Asante Kotoko who need to get past Istanbul to maintain that dream on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors, two-time losing finalist in the last three seasons are tipped to progress to the quarter-finals.

In other matches on Sunday, 2012 winners New Edubiase will be away to Fetteh Feyenoord in Gomoa.

Berekum Chelsea, who have struggled to get past the semi-final in the competition will meet Inter Allies in an all-Premier League clash at the Golden City Park.
