Kotoko slip into bottom ranks after home draw

Asante Kotoko's title defence suffered yet another setback following a 2-2 draw with Hasaacas at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday.

The result hands the Porcupine Warriors their first point of the season however, they slip into the relegation ranks two games into the campaign.

Kotoko jumped into the lead after 5 minutes through new signing Emmanuel Asante.

But before the half ended, Hasaacas had rallied back to take a 2-1 lead through Amos Korankye in the 22nd minute and Emmanuel Ankobiah with four minutes to end the half.

The Reds, who lost their first game returned from the break determined to avoid another defeat.

On the hour mark, Dauda Mohammed equalised to save Kotoko and Didi Dramani from another defeat.
