Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson has returned to familiar surroundings in Turkey to sign up for second tier side Balikesirspor.

Kingson, who enjoyed a seven-year spell in the Turkey cancelled his contract with Cyrpiot side Doxa Katokopia to complete his move.

He has signed onto a six-month contract with Balikesirspor subject to an extension.

Kingson has played for Galatasaray, Sakaryaspor, Goztepe, Antalyaspor, Ankaraspor and Elaspor, all in Turkey in the past.
