Richard Kingson has demanded a united front as Ghana continue with preparations for next month's World Cup finals.

The Black Stars got off their training in France on Monday under Milovan Rajevac.

Kingson, one of the few experienced players in the side has continued to put in solid performances for Ghana despite a peripheral role with club, Wigan in the English Premiership.

However, the goalkeeper who captained to silver at the 2010 African Nations Cup and line for a second World Cup appearance insists he is still good enough for the Black Stars.

Though he says the World Cup 'is a stage for the matured, not the ordinary', Kingson maintains everyone needs to work in unison and has called for support from the fans even after Milovan Rajevac picks his final 23.

"I know it's often difficult to see one's favourite being omitted but the coach knows who is best for the team," he said.

"It will be very painful for whoever does not make the final 23, but that is football. When this happens, we all need to support the team in prayers and expect that they raise high the national flag."
