Jordan Ayew has agreed to join Sochaux on a six-month loan deal in the French Ligue 1.

A deal will be complete subject to the Ghana and Marseille striker passing a medical with the team second from bottom and six points from safety.

The 22-year-old has scored just once in 16 appearances this season will hope the move improves his chances of making the Ghana squad for the World Cup finals in Brazil.

Jordan is the younger brother of fellow Marseille star Andre and son of former Ghana captain Abedi Ayew Pele.
