Sekondi Hasaacas emerged victorious at the Accra Stadium on Sunday when they defeated Hearts of Oak 2-1 in their First Capital Plus Premier League Week 21 game.

The visitors made their intentions clear seconds after kick off when Emmanuel Ankobeah hit the back of the net under a minute into the game.

Ankobeah then gave the “do-the-do” boys a comfortable 2-0 lead when he once again slotted in for his side in the 7th minute.

The game however came to a halt after fan allegedly threw objects which injured an assistant referee after the 20th minute.

And after restart, the Phobians began the quest to stage a come-back and secure all maximum points in the game.

However a relentless performance from Hasaacas saw them go into the first half break with their two goal lead intact.

The second half saw Coach Herbert Addo through in more attackers as the Phobians sought to redeem their image.

They however were able to reduce the deficit after Philip Boampong connected from corner kick in the 65th minute to see the game end 2-1 in favour of Hasaacas.

Hasaacas have now moved up the League table to 6th while the Phobians are now 12th.
