Ghana's progress to the second round of the African Nations Championship continues to earned praise as uniBank Ghana, official Bank of the national team.

The Ghanaian-owned private bank, which became of a sponsor of the national side last year is thrilled with the performance of the home-based team in South Africa.

Ghana topped their group on Tuesday to reach the quarter-finals of the competition exclusive to players based in their home countries.

"The Management of uniBank (Ghana) Limited wishes to congratulate the Playing body of the Local Black Stars Soccer Team for qualifying into the Quarter finals of the on-going CHAN Tournament being organised in South Africa.

"We also wish to extend same to the Technical Team as well as the Management Committee for this qualification. We will continue to support the team with our prayers till they finally bring back the Golden Fleece from South Africa. BRAVO!," said a statement from uniBank on Wednesday.

uniBank, last year signed a $1.2 million deal for a three-year the period to partner the national team.
