Four players have been shortlisted for the NASCO player of the month award for November. The nominees are Prince Tweneboah of Basake Holy Stars FC, Stephen Anorkye Badu of Aduana Stars FC, Usman Safianu of Hohoe United FC, and Samba O’Neil of Asante Kotoko SC.
Basake Holy Stars FC’s talisman Prince Tweneboah enjoyed a remarkable month, scoring five goals in six league matches. He found the net in five consecutive games and picked up two NASCO Player of the Match awards. His brilliant form was instrumental in helping Holy Stars climb out of the relegation zone for the first time this season. Prince continues to earn admiration for his attacking flair and lethal finishing.
For Aduana Stars FC, Stephen Anorkye Badu stood firm at the back throughout November. Featuring in five league matches, he showcased composure, leadership, and defensive authority, helping the Fire Club maintain their position in the top three. His reliability earned him two NASCO Player of the Match awards.
At newly promoted Hohoe United, captain Usman Safianu was a joy to watch. He helped his side remain unbeaten in four matches and displayed strong leadership on the pitch. Usman contributed one goal and three assists in five games, earning one NASCO Player of the Match award for his outstanding performances.
Asante Kotoko’s skipper Samba O’Neil played a key role in keeping the Porcupine Warriors within the top five at the end of the month. The experienced defender scored two goals in seven matches and picked up two NASCO Player of the Match awards, reflecting his consistency, commitment, and leadership throughout November.
The winner will take home a 43-inch NASCO digital satellite television and a NASCO double-door fridge with a bottom freezer.
