First leg matches for the Third Round of the Elite Clubs Cup Competition is scheduled to take place on Wednesday.

This round of the novelty competition will see the sixteen winners who emerged from the Second Round paired with the Sixteen Premier clubs.

The sixteen winners who emerge from the third round shall then be drawn into four groups of four teams each.

The clubs in each group will then play against each other on a home and away basis. Three points shall be awarded for a win and one point for a drawn game.
