Ebusua Dwarfs recorded a 2-0 win over Angolan side Petro Atletico in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday, a result which will serve as a big boost ahead of the return leg.

Midfielder David Gomes opened the scoring for Dwarfs at the Robert Mensah Stadium in the 64th minute before Ricky Adjei Mensah doubled their lead as the game progressed.

The important home win could prove crucial when Dwarfs arrive for the return game in seven days time in Luanda.
