Dreams FC humble Legon Cities as RTU stun Accra Lions in Accra

Dreams FC humiliated Legon Cities 5-1 at the Theatre of Dreams on Sunday.

Gael Aholou gave Dreams FC a well deserved opener in the sixth minute as he volleyed in a beautiful pass from the right side. Ishamel Dede doubled their lead 20 minutes later to give the Still Believe lads a commanding lead.

Samuel Armah brought the Royals back into business as he reduced the deficit on the half time mark.

Dreams FC increased the tempo after recess and scored through Ali Huzaif on 58 minutes to restore their two goal advantage.

Ibrahim Abdulai headed home on 66 minutes before Godfred Atuahene climbed off the bench to make it 5-1 for Zito's side.

At the CAM Park- Emmanuel Boakye Owusu scored a brace to power Karela United to a 4-1 win over Berekum Chelsea. The Anyinasie based side scored a treble in the first half before adding the fourth goal in the 69th minute through Evans Adomako. Boakye Owusu converted from the spot in the 17th minute and got on the end of a beautiful team play for his second one minute later.

Kofi Patrick Ansu later scored in the 77th minute but the goal had no impact on the result as the game ended 4-1.

Emmanuel Kotei scored in the 53rd minute to give Nsoatreman FC a slim win over Medeama SC at the Konamansa Park.

In Accra - Real Tamale United United stunned Accra Lions 2-1 at the Accra Sports stadium. The Northern giants started the game on a strong footing as they scored two goals in the first half through Issah Kuka and Baba Kushibu in the 17th and minutes respectively. Accra Lions pulled one back through Baba Apiiga in the 59th minute but it wasn’t enough to save them from defeat.

At DUN’s Park, Bibiani Gold Stars returned to winning ways as they pip Accra Great Olympics 1-0. Godfred Kyei scored the only goal of the match in 19th minute to condemn the Dade Boys to another defeat on the road.

Finally, Hafiz Konkoni netted yet again as Bechem United beat FC Samartex 1996 2-0 at Fosu Gyeabuor Park. The lanky attacker opened the scoring in the 23rd minute before the visitors scored an own goal in the 79th minute.
