The Division One League resumes this weekend after going on a one week break following the completion of the first round. The first round of the season ended a fortnight ago with Tema Youth finishing as table toppers on Zone Three.
The competition for Premier League slot is getting keener by the day with Tema Youth, Accra Lions, Kotoku Royals and Heart of Lions have proven that they have the pedigree to make it to the elite Division next season.
League leaders Tema Youth are the only team that finished the first round of the season without defeat, picking 33 points after 15 matches in Zone Three.
Tema Youth won 9 and drew 6 matches to stay at the top of the table with 33 points, one point richer than Accra Lions who sit in second place.
The Harbour Warriors would fight for a smooth start to life in the second round when they take on Accra Young Wise at the Blue Skies Park at Doboro.
Accra City Stars FC welcome Accra Lions to the MATS Park at Teshie. While Vision FC battle Heart of Lions at Nii Okromansa Park at Amrahia.
