The Black Stars begin World Cup training camp in Accra Tuesday afternoon as Kwesi Appiah prepares his team.

Twenty players are expected to participate in the first session at the Accra Stadium.

Adam Kwarasey, Daniel Opare, Jeffrey Schlupp and Albert Adomah will be absent from the opening session.

Michael Essien and Kevin Prince Boateng will not be part of the sessions at home rather they will join the squad in the Netherlands for the second phase of preparations.

Appiah will get his players started at 3:00pm on the opening day as the Black Stars begin work leading up to a May 23 farewell match at the same venue with a local select side.
