B.A. United have been charged by the Ghana Football Association in the matter of forfeiture of matches due to failure to pay fines and cost to the GFA.

The Club faces two charges for breaching of Articles 39(8)(b) and 34(1)(L) and Articles 39(8)(b) and 34(1)(L) of the GFA General Regulations.

For the first count, B.A. United are charged for refusing to pay the fine of One Thousand and Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHc1,500) within the stipulated fourteen (14) days after the fine was communicated by the Ghana Football Association for the entire duration of this season, as a result a Disciplinary Committee Decision (Appeal and Review Decisions both upheld the Decision of the Disciplinary Committee) in the protest brought against them by Aduana Stars, Berlin FC and Bechem FC for fielding an unqualified player in the person of Douglas Yeboah.

Charge two is for the failure and refusal to pay the fine of Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHc200) within the stipulated fourteen (14) days after the fine was communicated for the entire second round of this season, as a result of the red card shown to your player, Charles Manu in their match against Techiman City FC played at Techiman in the first round.

B.A. United have until 5pm on Friday, June 6, 2014 to respond to the charges.
