Ebenezer Assifuah has been nominated for CAF's Most Promising Talent award at the 2013 Glo-CAF Awards.

The Ghana international who plays for Swiss side, Sion, won the Golden Boot trophy at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey is one of four nominees for the prize.

Assifuah, who helped Ghana to win third-place against Iraq at the World Cup scored six goals in seven matches. Before the tounament in Turkey, he struck three goals at the African U-20 Championship in Algeria as Ghana reached the final.

He was named in the tournament best XI.

The other nominees are Saleh Gomaa of Egypt, Kelechi Iheanacho of Nigeria and Cameroon's Alexis Yougouda.

The winners will be announced at the Glo-CAF Awards Gala scheduled for Thursday, January 9, 2014 in Lagos, Nigeria.
