Kennedy Ashia marked his return to Liberty Professionals with a double as the Dansoman side strolled to a 3-1 win over Hasaacas on Wednesday in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The former Ghana U-20 attacker who rejoined Liberty after an unsuccessful spell with Norway's SK Brann was the hero of the day as the win sends lifts his side from the relegation zone.

Tamimu Montari scored in between Ashia's brace while Frederick Quayeson got the consolation for the visitors.

Ashia scored the opener after 63 minutes before Montari made it 2-0 four minutes later.

Quayeson came off the bench to pull a goal back when he headed in from the far post in the 76th minute.

But two minutes later, Ashia was on handed to put the game beyond Hasaacas when he scored his second of the afternoon.
