AshantiGold continue to fall off the pace for the summit after suffering their third consecutive defeat in the First Capital Plus League on Wednesday.

The Miners lost 2-1 to Hasaacas at the Essipon Stadium, a result which sees them drop out of the top-four to fifth place.

Joseph Ato Bissah scored in between a Frederick Quayeson's double for Hasaacas, who are now a point away from top four.

At the Gyamfi Park, Medeama boosted their push for a top-four place with a 1-0 win over New Edubiase.

Kabiru Imoro scored the match winner in the second half.

In Tema, bottom side Inter Allies produced a rare win following a 1-0 victory over King Faisal.

Abdul Fatawu scored the match winner in the closing stages of the game to give Inter Allies a glimmer of hope in the push to survive relegation.
