Two more match officials in the Onetouch Premier League have been suspended by the Ghana Football Association.

Referee W.L Quaye of Accra and Akatsi-based assistant referee, John Hodzade begin their indefinite suspensions for poor performances in the league, read an FA statement.

The action is line with the FA's resolve to improve the standard of the game at all levels.

The performances of the two came under review after Referee Quaye had officiated in the match-day-1 and match-day-5 matches between Heart of Lions and Real Sportive at Kpando and the game between Hearts of Oak and Liberty Professionals at El Wak Stadium while assistant referee Hodzade run the lines in the match-day-6 fixture at the El Wak Stadium between Real Sportive and Wa All Stars.

This brings to four, the number of match officials to have been hit with disciplinary sanctions in the league so far.

The Football Association last month suspended referee T.K. Aggrey and assistant referee Reuben Laryea for similar performances.
